Hi, I cannot activate my esim with eversafe because my phone is in SOS mode and cannot receive text. please advise

Then you will likely need to wait for customer service agent response. Another customer waiting about one hour for CSA to respond this morning. Hopefully, will get to you soon.

the public mobile sim remains in "activating" state

yes it's out, no physical sim in the phone, restarted several times, reset all network but still in SOS mode

Did you physically remove the other SIM card out of the phone?

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Was your phone in SOS mode before you activated your new account?
Might want to try a simple reboot of phone.
Did you recieve email with QR code with eSIM activation?

the eSIM is installed and set as Active? Did you try Reset All Networks?
if that still does not connect still, ask PM to check
