For the past several days, texts sometimes don't send or I don't receive them or they send/come in an hour or more after they've been sent.

Thank you very much. Clearing cache may have worked. If not I will submit a ticket following the prompts you give.

@Moose2004  - you have been a community member for some time. So is this an all of a sudden change?

Is this an issue with MMS only, or all SMS as well?

Are you using iMessage or Chat Features?

Perform a Reset of your device's Network Settings, to see if this improves your calling ability.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Iphone:

To Reset Network Settings, begin by opening the Settings app. Next, tap General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings. and enter your passcode.

Your iPhone will reset network settings and restart itself.

android:

Find and tap Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset network settings.

Check for outages in your area:

https://downdetector.ca/status/telus/map/

Can you try your sim into another compatible phone?

If this still happens, yeah, i'd submit a ticket by methods provided by @hTideGnow

HI @Moose2004

try to clear cache on the Messaging app

If possible, try to send on another messaging app a well

If all fails, open ticket with CS agent.  Couple times, people came back and told us CS agent found some weird glitch on the account with text and fixed it

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:

start by typing : Contact CS Agent
then Click "Contact Us"
then Click "Other"
finally Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the CS Agent (but this can take longer):

HI @Moose2004   You sure you are sending text and not iMessage or RCS?

And voice calls and Mobile data are working well?

did you try in another area?  It could be network issue in your area

You can first try to reseat your sim card.
