I’m new to public mobile and moved both mine and wife’s. I had problems with both but I did find a solution for both and this is about my wife iPhone 11 not sending messages through iMessage when using the data plan. When using wifi friends were telling her it was using her gmail with her address. I was originally with Telus then downloaded an eSIM to her phone which apparently was successful. When you go into iMessage you can use the phone number or gmail and hers were being sent by gmail for some reason as it changed after transferring companies. I retested and it still didn’t work. I could see no the the eSIM AND PHYSICAL SIM with my old Carrier Telus still listed. I decided to remove the physical SIM with the old carrier and did a reboot of the phone and Voilà SUCCESS!!!!!

I switched it to 3G and my data finally works!!

@Cara35 yes, with Reset all networks earlier, your VPN would be gone if any
To change to 3G
Select Settings ;
Select Mobile Data.
Select Mobile Data Options.
Select Voice & Data
enable 3G there

Can you go in to settings, general, vpn and see if anything is there and on? If on then turn it off.

With my wifi off I can’t go to any web page. I reset network settings and it didn’t help

I went to general, about, but not sure where to go from there as there’s no instructions to reset anything there. Cellular says public mobile.

Can you turn off wifi and then refresh that page in Safari? Or go to any page?
Carrier profile is in settings, general, about while wifi is on.
Resetting network settings may also fix the apn. Or do you have a VPN set up and turned on?

I see where it says under cellular that I can reset data network. That’s what you want me to reset?

Carrier profile is updated? How do I do that. I’ll look for a reset for networks but wifi isn’t my problem. It’s cellular.

it is weird you cannot use data
do you have another phone to test??
or first make sure if Carrier Profile is updated. Then try to reboot your phone once
if that does not work, try Reset All Networks (it would also delete your saved wifi, you just need to add them back after)

It would be nice to talk to someone at public mobile but I can’t find a phone number for them. Clearly something is wrong on their end as I’ve reset my phone, made sure everything was on and correct and I still have no data. How can I connect to someone with public mobile that’s not a computer person ?

if not, Click the 3 dots on top right of Safari and open a Private browser tab and login My Account to check again

@Cara35 please try login My Account again using Incognito mode.
Because of some cache issue, you might need Incognito mode to get the correct usage
