father has no credit card. can I auto pay for him with mine?

My father is looking to join with the 20 dollar plan but has no credit card to use the auto-renew option. he refuses to get one so I'm wondering if I can use the same card I use with my current plan on his behalf. also would this affect the referral discount I'd be eligible for for getting my father signed up?

Well, it is not your fault that she dropped your SIM card! I think, instead of waiting a month and wasting your money, you should contact Moderators_Team and see if they could do an exception for you. If that would be impossible, then you can wait.

she tried and failed on the first sim. then the second sim she tried to give me she didn't bother but i read you can only change your number once per billing cycle hence why i'm debating if i should just get a new account at walmart and let the plan i have currently run out and deactivate itself.

@marcejam501 If she tried to port your SOLO number already, then do not try to do it again. You will need to send a private message to a Moderator_Team, explain your situation and provide them your new SIM card number. Ask them to port number to this new SIM card instead the one she lost, they will help to resolve your problem!

@marcejam501 Yes you can port your solo number to PM at Walmart with talk + text plan for free sim + $20 credit bill 🙂

ask the lady at the wow booth i visited. she tried a bunch of times to move my solo number to public. Then after i picked a new number she dropped the sim into a place she couldn't reach and i had to get another new number for the plan i went in for so i'm not sure i'm even allowed to get my solo number on my current public plan. if its possible to transfer the number i might try opening a new account at walmart with it later cause i don't want to tell every one my number changed

Why can’t you transfer your number?  As long as it is active, there is no reason you would not be able to do so.

I wish I knew this yesterday when i switched my plan from solo. that would have given me the equivalent of 3 free months on my plan (i went to wow boutique for mine) Just got my father fixed up though at walmart and he was paying 30 before so he pretty much got a month free so at least i got that.

man if only i could somehow get that for myself though. i know my solo is on till the 14th (couldn't transfer my number boo)

@marcejam501 That $20 credit and free SIM mentioned by @meocon is only for talk & text plans activated at Walmart. It must be any talk/text plan without data. If he does want a talk/text/data plan just buy the $10 plan and change to the one he wants once his account is activated.

@marcejam501, Regarding the credit card, there shouldn't be a problem using your credit card for your dad's account.  As for the referral reward, it would not be affected in any way.

You can activate a new sim card with your name & address so you can use your credit card to pay for it you just need different email to get $20 credit & also use your phone number for referral program. Yes you can still have bonus for autopay as well no problem with same credit card 🙂 and then you can give the sim card for your father to use it.
