Hello @J_jim , You can switch from eSIM to a physical (card) SIM. You will need to purchase a new PM SIM card at a retail location, by mail, or Amazon. Once received, you will access your online account and change the SIM by entering the new physical SIM card number in the SIM change field. I've included some links to assist you:

@J_jim  With  physical SIM card in hand log into your account profile page and SIM card swap the number like this

@J_jim ,

  1. Log in to the Public Mobile app  (select + symbol on bottom left) or My Account
  2. Go to the ‘Profile’ tab
  3. Select the pencil icon next to your current SIM number
  4. Enter your the 16-digit code of your new SIM
  5. Select ‘Save Changes’
  6. In cellular settings make sure that “ Turn Off This Line “ for eSIM (for iPhone ) is selected. (I am not positive where the setting is on a different phone to turn it off, possibly ‘Turn off your eSIM under Mobile Network
  7. Reset your network settings and reboot your phone
  8. Try calls & text to see if they work before deleting your eSIM
