eSIM

Hi,

I just signed up for a plan yesterday afternoon and am still waiting for my payment to go through. I can’t make any calls or texts.

Do I need to purchase an eSIM card or is that automatically done for me? Could that be what is holding up the process? Sorry, I’m a senior with zero experience in these things ☹️

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Hi, thanks for replying. I ended up buying an sSIM card for $5 on the app - then my phone started working … I thought the eSIM card was free and was automatically activated upon signup but apparently not.  My son signed up at the same time as me and didn’t have to do anything but click the eSIM button to have his plan start working right away.

Hi @Sharyl62,

Here is a helpful article that you may find useful:

Perhaps it is just a matter of knowing how to activate your Esim

I remember choosing the eSIM button. Is there a way to see if it’s connected?
thanks

@Sharyl62  Did you download the public mobile app to activate ? You need to can’t do it from the website anymore . And when you activate on the app you will be given option to pick physical SIM card or eSIM at that time
