Hi everyone,
I was gone for a week last week. I was surprised to find that there was data used during the period when I was away. Do you know why?

Thank you for asking. I was out of the country. Went to Philly, USA!

Philadelphia!! for sure not within reach of Canada tower.

I see you were in the US. Did you cross the border via car and switched on the phone in hope that the US add on kicks in?
Probably the phone was still in range of a Canadian tower and used Canada data until you left that range.
The same applies when you returned.
In your usage history you can see the date when data was used.

I have always used a data tracking app like datawitness pm or my data manager. and both are typically bang on with usage compared to what PM shows.

Hi ShawnC13,
thank you for asking.
I purchased the add on roaming plan with PM for my US visit. I found the data usage questionable!

I lot of customers question the data usage meter. Fact is the meter is legal tender. The discrepancies compared to personal metering is explanable. There are lot of times and situations where data is being consumed and we may not have accounted for it.
