Is it possible to change a telephone number to a new area code, but keep the last 7 digits of my number?

Chance are slim to none that you can keep the last 7 digit with a new area code.
Try calling the new area code and 7 digit to see if it belongs to someone.
Also the number may belong to a specific carrier other than Telus/Koodo/PM if it works. If it is a different carrier, you need to open an account with them.
Just curious what is the area code and first 3 digits?

Hello @Grant987
That, is a very hard thing to do. But, with that being said, you are permitted to change your number 4 times per month. Here is the link.

Just know this. If you choose a different area code that you have now, you may have to pay a different provincial tax and possibly 911 fees.

sorry @Grant987
you don't get to choose the exact phone number. No carrier let you do this anymore. You choose the city you want and the system will randomly give you couple choices to choose from. If you don't like any of those, repeat the exercise until you got one you like
