hello I tried to bring my old phone number over and it is unable to be tranfered but is fine but now the screen on the account is stuck on activation step 5 and i cant move from that page to get into my account to choose a new number does anyone know how to do this please

Hey Christina,
I had troubles transferring my old number too. I used the Public Mobile app and I had to go over to Support > Chat with an Agent and then make a ticket. They got back to me within 2 days and they resolved the issue shortly after that. Not sure if this helps but I hope it does. Sorry if it's not a quick fix and takes a couple days.

hello i have tried that. it asked if i wanted to transfer my old number which i said yes but i am unable to do so but now its stuck on a screen saying i need to conact public mobile

Hey @christina1982
Just to add to @hairbag1 comment about needing to download the app on your phone to finish the sign up, I strongly advise NOT to transfer your old number you want just yet. Sign up, get a temporary number. When your sign up is complete, make sure you can make and take calls, texts and data all work. If they all work, THEN port over your number. Best not to temp fate and have no phone line at all for hours or days at a time.

you must use the Public Mobile app to successfully activate your new account.
