Hi there,
I'm trying to transfer my phone number in the app. After filling in the phone number and account number for my current Videotron plan, I try to scroll down to fill in the "alternative phone number" but it won't let me scroll down.
Is this a problem with the app? Tried re-downloading the app, etc

I had the same problem and could not get around it.
The only way out is to get a temporary number like others have suggested, then transfer your old number later.

Personally, I'd hold off on porting your number right away. First and foremost, if you want to sign up with Public Mobile, get a temporary number to start. Make sure you can make and take calls. Make sure you can text and receive them. Also, make sure data works. THEN, if everything works, you can log into your account online and then port the number via this link.

some people have trouble with scrolling down via the app during activation. Can you leave alternative phone number blank? From what I know, that is an option field and you can leave it. If you can leave it and move to the next screen , please do so
if not, try to see if you can choose a smaller default font on the phone and try again, maybe even uninstall and reinstall the app before trying
And if you are only activating physical sim and not esim, you can use a friend's phone to help download the app and activate (but don't do that if you are activating esim)
