hi everyone. Since it appears I'm likely going to be in for a long wait getting my phone fixed. I'm wondering if I can setup a prepaid account somewhere for the interim. At this point I have no service at all on either SIM card.  From public mobile or my original Koodo account.

I just don't want me using a prepaid SIM card with a third number from say Koodo or Telus for the next week to impact the trouble shooting from public mobile

how sad I have to do this. 😔

you coudl get a Voip number with fongo (free) will only be active with wifi.

if your Koodo number no longer works you might want to ask them to reactivate your  old account. the number needs to be active for porting.  get a confirmation from other members on this though...

If you do this, it should be a completely separate account, especially if Telus (make sure it is a different e-mail address on the account than the address on the snagged accounts).
