Is a person able to pay for a full year of service or does it have to be monthly?

Are you sure you want to pay for a year service?
PM is a prepaid service so there are no refund if you decide to change to another carrier. Just go on AutoPay so payment will charge your account on your renewal date.

I would recommend against pre-paying any more than a few cycles at a time unless you must do this for budgetary purposes.
There is no benefit in doing so such as a pre-payment discount for paying in longer increments, as there are in some plans with other providers.
It is an intriguing thought, however, and it's kinda surprising Public Mobile doesn't offer a 6 cycle or 12 cycle term to 'lock in' folks. (though remember, no one is ever locked in around here and each 30-day cycle is like a brand new term of it's own...)

HI @D0lly
just wondering why you want to deposit or pay ahead a full year of money?
are you going on vacation ? if you are let us know and we can provide you cheaper way (but maybe more effort LoL)

@Quirion620- Welcome to the community. The $2 is only available to those with accounts prior to past late January and have not switched to points.
Pre-paying would have no affect on changing plans. It's just the balance on hand to pay for whatever plan each time (or add-ons).

I suggest you to put on your credit card as an automatic payment because you will get 2$ off you mobile plan every month. However I don't think you can pay for a whole year because imagine if they offer you a better plan in few months and you already paid for a year you wouldn't be able to add the new plan until your pre-paid one is finished, just this year I had 2 promotions that made my plan better for cheaper.

Technically - yes. You can add funds on your account to cover few months of renewal. Bill is paid as PM takes funds from account and if there is no enough will charge your credit card.

that's good to know, I will keep it in mind. Thanks

You can always deposit a full years amount to cover your plan costs in your Available Funds account.
That way your plan renewal fees can come out from there, automatically every month.

ok, thanks.

@D0lly technically it is every 30 days.
But you can manually load enough fund for a full year if you want to . Just login My Account and then payment page and click Add Fund to My Account
But keep in mind, PM is prepaid provider and won't provide refund. So, if you are staying for a full year, yes. But if you might change your mind or get better deal and want to go, you might be stuck

@D0lly , there are no options to pay forward beyond the current plan cycle. Auto pay is an easy convenience, just set it and forget it.
