Depending on your bank card, it may not work.  Regular bank/debit cards won't work because it's not "credit card system" accessible.  However, all credit card-type cards should work.  More bank cards have Visa/Mastercard access now so those should work.

Double check your billing address, the remove/add or replace your card and try again after an hour.  Here's another idea, take a look at this Kellogg's cereal option!  If you're really stuck, let us know... there may be another idea to get the AutoPay discount.

The OP did write:

"or is it Canada bank card only?"

Suspect @BKNS27 took that to infer the OP was using an American-issued card.

I wonder if @jcliu0229  was trying to use a debit (bank) card and perhaps not an otherwise authorized type payment card able to be used with Public Mobile.

When updating credit card info, make sure to do the following to avoid the common glitches that sometimes occur with this process:

  1. Clear your browser's cache & cookies
  2. Use incognito mode
  3. Select "Manage My Card"
  4. Select "replace card"
  5. Type your address exactly as from your billing statement
  6.  Don't use a space in the postal code
  7.  Use ALL CAPS if necessary
  8.  Type everything, not letting autofill complete any fields

As written in the Public Mobile help article and to add to what @Anonymous  and @cellphoneuser1 posted:  https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/register-your-payment-card

" We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and Visa Debit cards that have been issued by Canadian or American financial institutions and are associated with addresses in Canada or the U.S.  "

I believe Mastercard Debit cards can work as well.

From the sound of your comment, you are using an American CC. Try using a Canadian CC and see if that works.

Also check with a moderator by clicking on the SIMon chat button and ask to create a ticket for a moderator to see if there are other payment options.

Why do you think it's an American credit card?  @jcliu0229 didn't say anything like that. Besides, American credit cards work.

@jcliu0229 It could be billing address doesn't match.
