Hi I am new to PM, A little confuse here, on the auto pay session, it saying
- Payment Due Date (One-Time Payment): Jan 14, 2019
But when you click inside, it saying Payment Due Date (AutoPay): Jan 15, 2019
If I would like to change my current plan, which date I should change, Jan 14 or 15?
This two date make me confused.
Thanks!
Kathy

@missorange we are suggesting you go into the plan change page right now and pick your new plan, and then click on the button that says to schedule it for your next renewal date. If you try to do an immediate plan change on your payment or renewal date, you ironically may cause the issue you are worried about trying to avoid.

@missorange if you experience loss of service due to the schedueld plan change, try one of these two things to get it going again--they usually work: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Paying-for-your-service/SOLUTION-My-plan-has-enough-f...

I typically have done immideate plan changes a day ahead instead of trusting the system to do it properly. Yes I lose a day but I don't risk no service. This only works though if the plan you want is still available.

There was a problem when plan change to a lower value plan on next renewal date. I changed my plan from $45 to $40 on Nov 24 renewal day without any issue. It you worry about it plan change on renewal date, you can add fund to your account with the amount enough to pay the higher cost plan. This is a sure way to have enough fund for the renewal without depending on the autopay to get money from your credit card to pay for the renewal.

It's been known to be a little dodgy when on autopay. Not always. Just for some random people. Which is why I suggested for you to put money in your account a couple days earlier.

There is no option for a specific date, other than the following:
1. Immediate change, at the time of selection. You will pay for a full plan change, and lose all remaining service(s) on the current plan.
2. Change plan on the renewal date. This will 'lock-in' for the date of your next renewal. In this specific case, it will be the date later date.
The earlier date (by 1 day) should be considered as the last date to have money preloaded to the account before allowing AutoPay to charge your card.

I don't think there's a way to choose a day. It's either at renewal (whichever yours is) or immediate. I guess one could say in a literal sense that's choosing a day 🙂
Dialing 611 will get you a recording that says the second date at 2am ET.

The first date is the end of your paid term. The second date is when autopay will take money if set up. (in the wee hours of the morning)
Just do your plan change for future at renewal and it'll change it at the right time.
Autopay has some inconsistencies though so it may behoove you to put the amount of your changed plan into your account a couple days before it renews to avoid any hiccups.
