Working with no sim or esim?

I just switched to public. (iphone 12) My phone is working fine but I don't see any eSim installed, and I took out the physical SIM (Bell)

Am I misunderstanding something?

The picture with the phone number is still there. You'll neeed to delete it from your Community account.

your sim is set as Personal and not Primary, probably because you had another sim earlier

you can try to change the label to Primary, or you can leave it, it won't make a difference

I think you are closed, your old sim might still trying to use as Primary

but the phone now not showing LTE.  Try to disable wifi and see if it connects LTE.  And , reboot and Reset network settings if you need

Okay I just deleted the old option “use as primary” and I got this.

oops, you need to delete your screenshot as it has your number

if you already removed the physical sim card with your old carrier, i think the PM sim is working as it says LTE on top.   The No Sim is a iOS glitch. Try reboot and Reset networks settings and check if it shows again

if you are worry, you can download PM app (if not already installed), login, and go to Account page and buy another esim from Account page.  The esim replacement is free.

HI @HLC  you should know if you are using physical sim or esim.  Did you join PM and selected eSIM?

if you did, check the Settings -> Cellular screen and there should be a Public Mobile esim there.  Post us a screenshot with what you see

@HLC if your PM services are working fine and you do not have a physical SIM card you have to be setup with an eSIM, did you scan a QR code from an email sent by PM, you must have as you have to select an eSIM in order to get the email

it won't work without sim card, you need a physical sim or esim with PM.  Check the iPhone Cellular screen and there should be one there

the status bar on top should show you if the phone connected to PM network.  And , can you make and receive calls?
