Hi I just want to know after I switch over from Koodo to Public can my number remain the same ?

Yes you can keep the number, as long the koodo phone is still active... just dont cancel it You need to port your number as other posters have explained

Yes you can definitely keep your KOODO number, however, there are 2 things to keep in mind.
If you're on a KOODO pre-paid service, you'll need to choose a new [temporary] number on the activation, then after activation, request Moderator assistance to then port your prior KOODO pre-paid number over to PM.
If you're on KOODO post-paid, just make sure to have your KOODO account number on hand when activating and the port process is simple on Page 2 of the Activation screen.
Having had just ported 2 KOODO post-paid services recently, there were NO SMS texts from KOODO confirming the port.

Yes, you can port over your number from Koodo to PM
when you activate, there is a part to ask you if you want to port your number or not
You need to fill in your Koodo account number and the name on the account.
Just remember, after your PM line is activated.. keep the Koodo SIM on the phone. Koodo will send you a text to confirm you are leaving. You need to reply YES within 90 mins to complete the process.
