Will I lose promotion with plan change?

Hello!

 

I signed up for a $40 PM plan in December 2019 with the promotion which offered an extra 1GB monthly data for $35+ plan upon activation.

 

Since I use less data now, I want to switch to the $35 plan.

Will I keep my extra 1GB monthly data promo if I switch my plan?

I was trying to find it to check the terms from last year but had a hard time doing so.

@nathfreder1 The screenshot that you posted contains a genreral disclaimer. We can't ignore the fact that Public Mobile posted a message saying that the extra data per 30 days would be kept as long as the plan was $35.

The addons promotion still be staying there until you used up all

What about accumulated add-ons ?? Will those be lost with plan change..

For anyone else looking for answer to the same question, not all promotions carry over with plan change! You can see if your promo will carry over before you confirm your plan change.

You're good as long as plan is at least $35.

The annoucement says

  • 1GB bonus will remain on the account as long as customers remains on an eligible rate plan of $35/mo or higher and the account remains in good standing
  • The 1GB of bonus data will stay on your account so long as your plan remains above $35/month
