The phone number is not working when i check the account it said is active but when i try to call the number is not in service,

Well just to let you know that Public mobile worked even on the long weekend to help me to be able to receive calls from Koodo providers and also Public mobile. Finally, I put my sim card into an older phone I had and I could receive calls. So, it ended up being my phone malfuction. The technical support asked me to put my sim card into an older phone. Now I can receive my calls from anyone. Thanks to Public Mobile and Telus support from their techs.

Just to let you know, I rebooted my phone, my boyfriends phone and nothing worked. But then I asked my daughter to call me since her cell plan is with koodo, when she called she said the phone cut out and I did not get a call and never showed up on my phone. So, she texted me and told me that she tried to call, but it didnot work. I did everything on the phone trying to figure it out and finally realized the issue is with Public mobile and Koodo.

I am having the same issue. It seems if your provider is Public mobile, then any one who is with Koodo provider cannot call you. It shows you that it did not go through where the wifi shows on the phone. You can only see it for a few seconds. The weird part is I can call the person with koodo provider but they cannot call you, because the call is dropped. I contacted the Public mobile and said they will let me know between 24-72 hours. I guess since it is a long weekend. I will see what happens. Perhaps you should also contact them, only by the website. I can receive text messages, emails,messenger messages, but I just cannot receive calls from koodo cell contacts.

@normaalifraga did you try thr PM sim in another phone?
try to use the phone in another area from where you are now, could be loacal network issue

Various issues could be at play.
Network issue, dirty SIM card contacts, etc.
Let him reboot phone and/or remove SIM in plug it back.

@normaalifraga hi try removing sim reboot your phone see if that helps toggle in and out of airplane mode if that doesn't help

@normaalifraga it could be just a network issue in the area. Ask if he can make outgoing calls.
At least have your son to reboot thr phone once
Also, try to change thr prefneteorj to 3G only and that could resolve the issue
