Why is it so easy to change your number in your account for public mobile but not other phone compan

The numbers that are available are PM’s owned numbers and you can change it 4 times/month.

I would not know. I've had the same cellular phone number for almost 33 years.

What is wrong with that?

They give you an option to eventually get a number you really like it and stick with it and PM forever.
