I paid for a USA Roaming bundle (talk, text and data 250) , have the receipt, but NO ADDON is on my phone ! Why !?!?!!? I have available funds , the add on should be IMMEDIATE … why isn’t it ?

So this is your third round of add-ons?
No it's not convenient or makes any sense.
But the workaround of waiting out the 240 hours when you know the time you bought it like at the top of whatever hour and buy a different add-on should work.
So say you buy the talk/text/data bundle first. 240 hours later you could buy the talk/text bundle and any other data other than 250. (You could buy any other data before that but work with me here 🙂 .) Then 240 hours later you can buy the talk/text/data bundle again. etc.
Like I said...do NOT buy a talk part until one expires.

@dust2dust...looks like it's safe to say that to re-purchase the same 10 Day US Roaming add-on...there's a 24 hour waiting period.
Alternative is to get CSA to push it.
Was hoping that was fixed in the latest "upgrade". 🙄

Well, whatever the issue, it’s not very convenient. I had no data, minutes all day today while out hiking/travelling. Not great. I have a ticket in … had to do the exact same thing 10 days ago - get the customer support person to “buy my add-on again “. It doesn’t make sense why it isn’t immediate when a customer has the FUNDS IN THEIR ACCOUNT.
Thanks for your input - it is appreciated. I will have to wait for my ticket to be assigned to someone I guess. Frustrating and inconvenient - but what can I do about it ! 🤷♀️

That's what I wondered. I've been trying to nail down what people are saying when they're having trouble with this. It has surprised me to read that they show the amount in their balance. So you too. I think this is a thing of the new system. For the 240 hours of a valid add-on, you can't re-buy it. But after 240 hours it seems as though you can. But it doesn't do it. It keeps your money in your balance and ignores the purchase. I'm not 100% yet with my theories though.
The strategy is to know the time of day that you bought the add-on first. Then 240 hours later it expires. You have three options with all this: 1. ask support to re-buy it for you at anytime (more for data obviously) 2. buy a different add-on like, as mentioned, the smaller bundle 3. wait out another 24 hours to re-buy the same add-on.
You can buy different data add-ons whenever you like. Don't buy talk add-ons when one is active. Not sure about text.
Did you buy the last add-on 10 days ago at midnight?

If the last one expired at midnight last night...you might be prevented from purchasing the identical add-on until 24 hours after the last one expired.
You may have better success purchasing just the data or text add-on until then.

You said the amount shows in your balance. Is this the first roaming add-on you've bought? Or are you trying to buy one again?

I have restarted my phone, tried the refresh “spinner” in my account … the add on is NOT THERE!

Click on the little spinner refresh icons lower down to see if things show up. Or use private mode. Did you previously buy a roaming add-on like around 10 days ago?
