@paulie unfortunately we are not usually given advance notice, so you will just have to check back periodically. we have been given no indication so far as to when another promo plan will be offered--or for that matter even "if" it will or not. Though, I can't imagine them not doing it again at some point, given the smashing success* of the 2016 Fall Promo.
*by smashing success, I mean the massive influx of new customers, and increased happiness of existing customers getting more for their $ and/or saving $ over their previous plan. As "success" is a rather subjective term, one could argue that the promo plan was NOT very successful if your criteria is a smooth execution without weeks worth of backlog of support issues of failed activations, failed porting requests, failed future-dated plan changes, failed SIM card deliveries, and probably a few other categories I've forgotten to mention. I personally am VERY glad they are taking some time and trying to address as many of these issues as thoroughly as possible before running another promo plan. As much as it would be nice for everyone to get a deal, I hope they take as much time as needed to make things MUCH more reliable and issues more manageable than last time. My two cents, take it for what it's worth.

Yes, I'm wondering when the next promo is. Certainly the 2GB/month plan is very good, but a the 4GB/month plan is the clincher.

That's just the regular plan. Nothing exactly special about it. It's still not a bad deal but I imagine the OP was looking for something more along the lines of the 12GB/$120 plan from a few months ago.

Unless you're looking for a data only plan with HUGE data allowed, any of the plans is an immediate avings over the BIG 3 and their 2nd level companies.
I just spoke with a friend on Saturday who has recently ended his term with TELUS and is now month to month, paying $90. I mentioned the 90 day, province wide talk, txt and 6 GB to him, he flipped out! What a deal!
Ordering his PM SIM card today.

Don't hold your breath. They still haven't fixed all the activation bugs, and they still haven't brought in a proper ticketing system. Until AT LEAST that much happens, there isn't going to be a new promo happening. I love our mods, but they can't keep up with that volume of support requests and PM can't afford another **bleep**storm like the last time, reputation-wise.

Exactly. Even the current plan 6GB/90days for $120-$6 is a promo like price. Other carriers won't even offer anything like that so why not just join and take adavantage of promo plan when its offered.

Just join first if you are going to be saving money. I missed out on their 4GB promo as well. But, one good thing about PM is that promos are not only restricted to new customers, it's pretty much all inclusive. The same can't be said about other carriers *cough *cough

I was lucky enough to have joined during a Promo. But with my data usage I would have been able to join under the regular plan and still saved a bunch of money. The great thing is that they have offered the last promo to all existing clients as well so why not join and save money and when the next promo you are still saving money but getting so much more product you can't lose.

I think right now its the time where even more users will join because when they did the 4GB promo, many weren't sure about the service. But now, pretty much everyone who joined are satisfied with the service and they will recommend PM being the top provider. If they introduce that Referral rewards for both users, the next one will be a hit as well.
However, i do not expect new promo before core issues are fixed. Issues such as self-serve status expiring, occasional us add-on issues or handling and providing support when tons come at once are all speculated with worst cases and planned to provide support without backloging.

I have been with PM over 2 years; that was the first promo event on an actual plan. Others were prize promos, so expect a LONG wait.

The sooner the sign up the sooner they will start saving money. (ie loyalty, and forum, and even refer a friend) and when a promo comes they can future date it.
I would tell them sign up now, and get savings.

I hope soon. I have people asking me about it a lot. Maybe a labs suggestion is warranted. I wonder if this type of stuff fits in the labs suggestions.
