When will my number be ported?

I signed up for Public mobile 30 minutes ago and I decided to port my Telus number straight to Public Mobile.

When should I expect to be able to use my new sim card?

Your number should port any minute now. 

Put that sim card in your phone and check, its probably good to go already.

Could take 15 mins, or up to 2 hours or more.   If it's still not fully ported in the morning, send a private message to one of the moderators and they'll be able to expedite the process for you.

If all goes well, you should be up and running in a couple hours. You will probably need to power cycle your phone. Report back in the morning if you are up or not, if not then we can tag a moderator to take a look, and they can generally clean up problems pretty quickly.
