Hi,
I've just set up my sister as a new PM customer. She chose the $34 50GB Canada/US plan. She did not want to use esim, so chose the option to have a physical sim card shipped to her home. Of course it will not arrive until well after the March 4th plan deadline date. The plan is already paid for, and she is now at the Activate Sim" page. Here is my assumption: she should just leave this page and do nothing, and return to it when her sim card arrives,and she can then activate her new plan even though it will be past the deadline. Am I correct in this assumption? Thanks in advance for any assistance you may offer.

wait the 2 weeks first. Worst case, get the sim in person after the 2 weeks and ask PM to reimburse you the cost

@GMPM You can, yes. We've heard many say it takes 2-3 weeks, or never. They'll tell you less, but there are frequent delays.

Get ready for a LONG wait for that sim card. If you get tired of waiting you can stop by a local Telus store to see if they have stock ($10), or Amazon has them for $5.

no worries. The plan is already paid for so she is locked in with this plan
She can leave the page for now. After she receives the sim, using Public Mobile app (only use the app and not the website) to login and enter the sim card number and complete the rest of the activation )
