Sorry to hear about your situation. You could change your plan to $15. Setup autopay for $2 reward and if you can refer a few family and friends to account register for an account save $1/referral.

They have discounted 1G of data for half the price. You can add on and it does not expire. You could switch your plan to a lower-tiered plan and make sure you have auto-pay setup which could bring your bill down to 13.00 per month, unless you need more then 100 minutes and more then 250mb.
One of the oracles @computergeek541 made a good suggestion. If you are on hard times reach out to the moderators.
