My voicemails are not saving. I used to be able to access them just fine and I have not downgraded my account in anyway. I just tried to leave a test voicemail and also discovered my outgoing message has disappeared and replaced by the default one. Then when I went to retrieve the voicemail, it was not there. How do I fix this?
Thank you Phil. I found those. You're right, it is useful and the transcript is pretty cool. So, if I want to keep the live vm active, how do I go about changing the default apple message? I guess I need to just re-record it?
@vonnieb Do you have an iPhone running ios17? If so the problem is likely Apple's Live Voicemail which is enabled by default. The recorded message is a generic Apple voice. You can access the transcripts by tapping the voicemail symbol bottom right of the phone app. You can turn off Live Voicemail in settings although I find it useful.
