Voicemail

My phone shows a red dot as if I have a voicemail but I don’t as I have deleted it. How to get rid of the dot? Also, after I listen to voicemail and deleted the message how to exit from voicemail ? I don’t think it’s one of the options I  heard . Thank you.

Which model phone do you have?  If iPhone, might be a visual voicemail issue. 

To exit from voicemail, usually just hang up.

@Joannedaigle You can try powering your phone on and off to see if the voicemail indicator will go off. I find that when I listen to my voicemail, if I exit too soon without saving or deleting the message it will still show me the indicator.

I usually just hang up when I'm done and then it will disappear. You can also check your notifications to see if something is checked in your phone settings.

are you using iPhone?  Look like Live voicemail was enabled.  Try to disable it and issue will be gone
