I had my voicemail forwarding enabled before PM changes were made in the spring. I’ve now discovered that when someone leaves me a voicemail, I get notified that there is a voicemail on the system, but when I use my phone to check it, there is no voicemail.
I’ve tried resetting by dialling ##004#, but that hasn’t fixed the problem. Also, I noticed when I call my cell number from a landline, the greeting I have in place isn’t played, it’s just a generic one that says the person you are trying to reach is unavailable. It’s almost line a stuck port where the messages are going to my old carrier, but I’ve been a PM customer for several years but I’m not sure if I’ve ever gotten a voicemail. PM CS Agent reset my voicemail password, but that didn’t fix the problem. Any suggestions?

I thought I would update my situation. The voicemail problem I was having has been solved. After several suggestions, the PM CS Agent I was dealing with escalated the issue to a Telus/PM Technical Support Specialist. I was in text and voice contact with that Rep today and she discovered that somehow, the live voicemail option (settings->phone->live voicemail) on my iPhone 11 had been turned on, by, I guess me at some point. When that feature was shut off, the old PM voicemail system was back to normal. Something so simple….Thanks Audrey!

If you have volte enabled then apparently support can fix it. Without volte they can't seem to.
Try dialing 1-778-580-4001 to get to the voicemail.

the conditional forwarding has been broken with VoLTE. Some said it could be fixed but only if you are using VoLTE and have agent to do something on the back end
the ring length could be adjusted before but might not work now. Here you are, sorry, posted earlier but got deleted, I need to screenshot it:

I actually used your reject spammers trick along time ago, but now I’m trying to get my voicemail back to normal, but CS Agents aren’t having much luck after resetting my voicemail password and refreshening my account provisioning.

Another issue. I only get 3 -> 3.5 rings before the call goes to the non functioning voicemail. Is there any way to increase the number of rings in the VoLTE era?

I believe forwarding will work if you have Volte enabled.
My forwarding (to stop receiving ANY voice mail - trick to reject all spammer calls) stopped after volte has been introduced. It is explained somewhere in Help are.
