Hello,
Every time I record a custom greeting and I activate the greeting, It still gives me the standard greeting.

@Marvintheone If it's malfunctioning you would need to contact customer service since we're all customers here in the community so can't do anything other than help troubleshoot. Send a private message to the agents using this link

of course I enabled it I’m a very tech savvy person and I would know how to do this. It’s malfunctioning thank you

this is what you missed and need to do now.
after you are in the Voicemail, click 3 for greetings, then 1 for Personal greeting and 1 to activate

Do you have an iPhone running iOS 17? If you do, you’re probably getting the phone’s live voicemail greeting that can’t be changed. You could test this by disabling live voicemail under Settings/Phone.
