VoLTE enabled phones

This phone-- Moto G  5G 2022---  Canada version PATE0008CA version is VoLTE  enabled and registered IMS on PublicMobile network in Southern Alberta.

5G preferred network and during call stays on 5G network.

Removed old SIM from unregistered phone swap in Moto G 5G powered up.

Power cycle reboot and voila 5G and VoLTE.

Not on the PublicMobile white list but IMS registers

This Moto G 5G is canadian software update channel sold by Moto Canada Ltd.

Surely this will be VoLTE worthy for Publicmobile.

For today VoLTE is enabled.

If the phone is not on the very restrictive white list you could find yourself with VoLTE disabled down the line. As many of us found out when VoLTE was first rolled out in spring - at first, VoLTE worked perfectly on "grey market" phones with VoLTE capability, until PM disabled it. So down the line VoLTE on enabled accounts would only have VoLTE on white listed phones.

I hope that you are lucky and slip through their cracks, I wouldn't hold my breath, though.

Old phone Blackview was not IMS registered VoLTE enabled

1 Sim card removed from Blackview phone and installed in Moto G 5G

@ power cycles and VoLTE automatically enabled.

SIM card is orginal from 4 years ago

hi @farmbot1 is that one phone or two? or one PM sim? you said it works and then you said not work??
