Using the # "1" for long distance calls with a 100 Canada wide minute plan.....Yes or No??

On PM, do I have to use the # "1" when dialing the 800 number for long distance calls.  My land line with Cogeco does not require that I dial "1" and if I do, I'll be charged for a long distance call.  Thank you.

When in doubt....in your contacts list add “+1”

calling 1-800 numbers does not count against your minutes with public mobile

@grampazz   You still dial  the 1 for 1-800 number.  From many users' experience, 1-800 numbers won't be counted towards your 100 minutes bucket.
