On PM, do I have to use the # "1" when dialing the 800 number for long distance calls. My land line with Cogeco does not require that I dial "1" and if I do, I'll be charged for a long distance call. Thank you.

When in doubt....in your contacts list add “+1”
+1 800 465 1234
+1 456 789 1011

calling 1-800 numbers does not count against your minutes with public mobile

@grampazz You still dial the 1 for 1-800 number. From many users' experience, 1-800 numbers won't be counted towards your 100 minutes bucket.
