Using Mikrotik WAP or USB modem with LTE data

I see some threads about the possibility of using LTE data on Public Mobile.

Does Public Mobile still allow for using USB data modems? Does that work on all service packages, including the cheapest?

If so, by extension, I suppose the Mikrotik LTE WAP would work. The US model has bands 2, 4, 5, which as I understand are the important frequencies for Public Mobile connectivity.
