Hello Community Team / Moderators,
I usually get charged on my credit card for auto-renewal of subscription on the 20/21/22 of a month. This morning, on January 19th, I exchanged enough points for cash to make sure that covers the next bill. However after that I noticed that my credit card has been charged earlier today for the full amount, even though it has not been applied to the account, just added to available funds, as the subscription is not renewed yet. Can I get the charges on the credit card reversed and get the subscription renewed only using the available funds sourced from the exchanged points?
Thanks

PM is on a 30 days cycle so your expiry day each month will change. I normally redeem 20 days before renewal day.
Best to leave it as credit for your next renewal.
In the future, I would suggest not to wait for the last minute to redeem. N

The usual amount of around $39. I think the reason I got charged is due to timing. I exchanged the points today, expecting to be charged tomorrow, but got charged earlier than usual today.
Thanks

If you redeemed points for a $20 credit. It should remain as credit in your account for next month’s bill.
How much was the charge on your CC. This could be for taxes and 911 fees.

Understood. Is it possible to get a voucher for the available funds in my account, or transfer it to another account?
Thanks

I just logged in to try that. However, now it is showing that my subscription has been renewed through the funds supplied by my credit card, instead of using the funds supplied earlier by exchanging points for credit.
Thanks

You cannot reverse charges. If your bill is paid - that's if for this billing period of 30 days.
I suggest to convert points to $$ at least a week in advance to avoid system to charge your CC too fast...

you are the second person with this issue today, I hope it is not a widespread issue
use this workaround to force the renewal using available funds:
Suspend your account for Lost/Stolen here
https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/profile/lost-or-stolen-phone
logoff and Wait 10 mins, log back in and unsuspend the account and it should then renew your account
