Us roaming

Just traveled thru several different usa states.
bought the pm roaming package.

The usa roaming worked for the most part but as I moved around to different states.
it would not work at all , also would only work on t mobile networks ?
anyone else notice the same ?
your thoughts be appreciated

I didn't find this to be the case for recent trips to eastern Wa state. I couldn't get text to work unless connected to T-Mobile network. AT&T was useless.

If I really want to be able to call Canada or US while in US, I'd get a local sim and a cheap plan OR...I'd use free wifi and use VOIP app such as Textnow.

The PM talk add-on is unreliable IMO.

My data also didn’t work .

your right while out of large cities it wouldn’t work .

You were able to connect to AT&T?! Several of us were not able to so much as select AT&T that we conclude that they no longer work. So that's rather surprising.

@Bmvanbese

it's common knowledge that AT&T no longer work for the roaming Talk add-on...only T-Mobile works now.

I found that in larger cities it would work...be diminished as I got away from town.

added...the Roaming add-on no longer works in Alaska as I've read.

Text and data should have worked for you.

@Bmvanbese , your experiences seems to match well with others who have used the roaming add-ons in the US.  I assume calling was the most challenged.  Calling can only work on T-Mobile 2G which is quite antiquated and not well covered.
