Can you log into your Self Service account and confirm exactly what you see under "My Data & Add-ons"? It should list any Add-Ons you have, such as the US Roaming option.
If not, like others mentioned it's a two-step process:

If you already had one of these addons that just expired and you are trying to add another one right after it, there seems to be a glitch with obtaining these back-to-back.
Therefore you may need Customer Support help to have it added for you.

after you Add-on you have to do Rebooting your phone
what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

Do you mind providing steps you did when buying add-on.
Purchasing an add-on after logging in into your PM account is a two step process. You need to load funds first and then purchase add on.
Those add-ons don't show up on the overview page. You need to click on Plan Details to see them.

@Mtbchick27 are you in US now? If so, you are connecting to AT&T or T-Mobile? one provider might work better in one region but not other, try to connect to both carriers and see which one works
Also, you just purchase your Add-on now? does it show up on your My Account? Just want to confirm you bought it without any issue
