Urgent- Bad internet Add ons after auto pay - 6GB Data 5.293 / 6144 MB

Hello,

When all things will be ok???????????????????????????????

Why all the time need to have a problem????????????????????

 

How it's posible that after auto pay the internet data usage remain like before?????

Don't worry about it, 5 out 6144 is nothing.

 

If you are really worried about whether PM is ripping you off, you can download a data usage counter from the app store. Then install it and configure it to monitor your data usage. Turn WIFI off and keep it off. Then put the phone down for 24 hours and don't touch it, then see how much data your phone used all by itself. You'd be suprised. After you've realized that the phone uses data while your not using it, you could track down which app is the most active data abuser and uninstall it if you can.

 

But again, 5 out of 6144 is nothing and probably not worth the effort.

@sophitechnicusñ I hate to pile on here, but as literally everyone before me has pointed out, what you're seeing is 100% normal and correct.  Your plan DID renew and unless you had only used 5.293 MB out of 6144 MB in your previous 90 days, your data usage DID reset to zero briefly, after which point your phone has used a little data and that's what you're seeing.  This is 100% completely normal and nothing to be alarmed about.

It is possible that 5 mb will be gone very quickly because of background services like checking for updqtes; emails or other services. And since there is LTE there is a chance that only took seconds after turning on the data. I wouldn't worry about it too much it isn't a very big number

5mb is like less than 1% of usage.    *facepalm*

I have never seen on my screen since starting my service, a 0 / XXXX MB listed.

 

On my first activation, I had 10.xxx / 1024 MB within a few minutes of payment.  Most likely the data required to update my phone.

 

If you were to purchase a 1 GB data top up, that would certainly show 0, but only if you still had other data available on your plan.

You did not use 5 GB, you used 0.005 GB

 

 

1000 MB = 1 GB

 

It is very easy to use 0.005 GB as long as your phone is on.

Are you absolutely sure there is no way your phone used any data between a count renewal and now. 5meg is really little.

 

What does your phones data history show for the last 24hours?

Please note that you got 6 GB of usage, this is 5 MB that has been used, which means

 

0.005 out of 6 GB has been used.

 

You have used 0.005, does that make sense?

What was your usage before the renewal?

Heck, even powering on my phone uses about 5MB...

 

Are you sure you didnt use 5 MB?

That means the internet data usage wasn't reseted!!!!!!!

As you've made the payment today, this may not update until later today, or even tomorrow morning.  I don't think you're having a problem.

 

Is this the final day of your 90 day plan, or is today the first of your next 90 day?

Hi, are you saying you data was not reset after your automatic renewal?

 

When was you expiry/renewal date? What does your account balance show? What does your payment history show?

 

The above will help troubleshoot your issue before getting a mod involved
