@Benzie there are two options to change your plan. At next renewal and change immediately. Its recommended to choose at next renewal date, since change immediately loses you what you paid for the period and you are immediately charged, in your case $40 for the new plan. @Benzie If you upgrade immediately there is no credit for unused time. To activate a new plan login to your account and click Change Plan. Pay close attention to the directions amd cautions.

@Benzie Log into your self serve account and select Change Plan right of My Plan and select the plan you want to change to. You should also make sure to select Change at Next Renewal as PM doesn't offer refunds or prorate for whatever is remaining in your current plan.
