Upgrade plan on renewal did not work

And now they don't offer the plan I upgraded to! Any recourse? 

I upgraded to a Can,US,Mex plan, $35, on renewal, which was following day. 

Next day we have same plan.  And that offer not there anymore.

Nope. Now they say I did not try to upgrade for current term early enough. 1 day not early enough. Therefore it went forward another month. Then as I inquired there was briefly a "cancel " button on my account. But I waited till they answered. By then, like 45 mins, it was too late.  Now have a more expensive account i don't need and no service in Mex when I do need it. Really lousy result.

You cannot downgrade plans unless they appear in your account. Most of the time you won't see anything cheaper than what you currently have.

Try signing in again on the app or website, the cancel button should be there.

Seems super dodgy on their part. Now I can't cancel it and get up old plan back. Only wanted new plan cause going to Mexico next week. Won't need it next month. They played dirty.

It is always a good idea to take a screenshot of your change as proof in the future.

You need to message a customer service agent and explain your situation.  Only they have power to help you. Good luck.
