There's erroneous information in that help article provided by Public Mobile.  A customer needs to ask a customer support agent to remove a credit card if the desire is to have no card saved at all on the Public Mobile account.

Well...it's either remove the word "remove" in the heading or add a blurb about removing the card. The text is all about updating.
