Update Account Information: My City is not in the dropdown list, and none listed fit

I live in Lincoln, NB.

The only close option in the dropdown is Fredericton, but this is incorrect. Lincoln is not part of Fredericton. It is, until the end of this year, it's own municipality. Next year, it becomes part of Oromocto, which is its own city, and is also not in the dropdown list.

I am currently locked out of an online account for a credit card, and it refuses to verify my new Public Mobile number, as it cannot verify my correct address they have on file with the incorrect address Public Mobile has on file.

I require a fix.

Address is just formality and you do not have to worry about exact data. Pick any close by city.

PM will never send you anything by mail unless you buy a phone but even then your address with PM will not be used as you have to provide exact delivery address.

@korptopia hi your address you have on file in your profile it can be 123 sesame street it doesn't affect your cc info if you are trying to update your credit card info try clearing your cache or use a different browser in ingognito mode,reboot your computer if the issue persists ask a cs agent to update your cc info for you, to contact a cs agent you will need to open a ticket, to speak to a customer service agent    Click here or if you are having issues with Simon you can send private message to a CS Agent here:  https://bit.ly/2GGCJzH

@korptopia the address you see there is only for PM's record keeping purpose, so, you are fine to use a different city because yours is not there. 

 

For the credit card issue, PM does not pass address information for credit card validation, they only pass CC number and CCV number and name.

 

In your case, it's is just PM system problem.  You can try again using Incognito mode or a different browser.  Or you can open a ticket with PM Support and they will sort that out for you:

1. If you have access to My account: At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. If you don't have access to My Account or have trouble with Chatbot: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply you there
