I'm changing phone providers, can I keep my number after unsubscribing?

@Mkopij If you unsubscribe you will lose your number, it needs to be kept active in order to change providers and keep the number. As @hairbag1 said, your PM account will close automatically once the number has been transferred to the new provider. You also need to keep your Public Mobile sim in the phone as you will receive a text message asking you to authorize the transfer of the number. You will need to reply to that with a Yes within 90 minutes of receiving it.

but you don't unsubscribe here yourself. Your account has to be active to port out the number
you just need to get the PM account number, then activate new line with another provider and give them the PM account number.
PM will send you a text , you reply Yes, and account here will be closed after the line is ported

once you've successfully ported your Public Mobile number to new provider, your account is automatically deactivated.
