Having trouble getting my sim card to work on Samsung rugby 2. Just activated the card and can not get it running. New PM member.
Tried the check your phone page, this was the result;
"Your device has not been reported as lost or stolen.
The Network Compatibility check cannot be performed at this time. Please try again later."
Any help appreciated

I would suggest a quick way to diagnoise the issue is to find another unlocked phone to see if the SIM is working.
It seems Rugby 2 doesn't support LTE band, so you might have limited functionality.
LTE has never been a requirement to use Public Mobile. All Public Mobole features and services will still work even if you can only connect to the HSPA network.

You would need to get it unlocked by your previous provider or try contacting Samsung.
Samsung is giving unlock codes for free :

@liasmYour android phone is locked to a network provider that is not PM. Find an unlocked phone to test..

I checked willmyphonework.net and your phone is compatable with 3G part of PM. Not 4G Lte Network though. Is your phone locked to another carrier?
Try above suggestion. Maybe do a network reset.
Edit; looks like phone is locked to another carrier. Call your former mobile company to get unlock code.

No it first says unregistered SIM then Limited Service after a few minutes.
When I put the sim in an android phone it asks for Sim network unlock pin

@liasmDid you make sure it's compatible with the PM data network?
Public Mobile has partnered with willmyphonework.net as the new compatibility checker.If you can’t find your make and/ or model, provide feedback directly here.
