Unlock phone

I have ordered a phone to start my public mobile account, the phone is “unlocked” until a SIM card is installed.  The phone then locks to the SIM card carrier.  How do I then unlock the phone if it locks to public mobile?

Agree with @ShawnC13,

The mods assist with the unlocking of Telus/Koodo locked phones. 

PM doesn't lock any phones.

The phones that lock to first sim inserted are typically old stock from Samsung. 

Those phones usually come with a sticker or a note in or on the box with the unlock code printed.  

Samsung online customer service via live chat also provides the unlock code for free.

@Rafmat, I think you would then have to contact the Moderators here and ask for an unlock code. Or if that doesn't work one from the manufacturer maybe?
