Unlock old Public Mobile phone

Hello,

I have an old Public Mobile phone, an Alcatel One Touch A392A.

I'm not a Public Mobile customer anymore, but I would like to give that phone to a relative that is coming to Canada.

How do I get the unlock code?

If you don't want to wait for moderators unlock code for this model is $1 to $2 on ebay.  Ebay seller could take 2 minutes or could take as long as moderator but one ebay seller say less than 24 hours.

If the phone is taken to a Koodo or Telus shop, they could potentially unlock it.  For free.

@tremols  how old is the phone?   when you say old PM phone did you buy it from PM when they used to sell phones, or that you simply used it on PM?

I ask because I had old samsung flip that was with telus, when i put the pm sim it requred to be unlocked to work with PM.

Moderator wait time is 2 - 3 days.  You can call Telus or Koodo to unlock your phone.  If you have account with koodo, you can unlock phone online with the Koodo self serve portal.

PM has not offered phones for a while....

You will need to contact moderator via private message.  Expect 1-2 day wait.
