Hi, I am leaving today around 6 pm and trying to forward all my calls to a voip phone number. "Connection problem or invalid MMI code" pops up every time. I am not going to take my public mobile phone with me so once I leave around 6 pm, I won't be able to set it. Please advise.

lol yeah, no *. That's what I wrote though - with the *.
On my stock Samsung dialer I can go to its settings, supplementary services, call forwarding, always forward - and tap it and set a number. No dial code.

I guess I missed the "*". In this instruction https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/call-forwarding, the star key is not there.

We always need to use the dialer to enter the *21*whatevernumber#, don't we? I opened my phone's dialpad AND pressed "21whatevernumber#". Should I press the star key before and after "21"?

Read the code carefully. But you can often set this in the dialer itself without dialing a code.

Unfortunately, I was not able to. I pressed "21 phonenumber #" then press the green "call". The error message appeared.
