My credit card was charged for an auto renewal fee. I turned auto payments off when I created the account. I live outside of the country and when signing up I knew I would only need services for one month. However I just checked my credit card today and was shocked to find that my credit card had been charged another month auto renewed for this account. I have already left the country. The SIM card has not been in use for a week now and it’s auto renewing without authorization.

@Michelle121 Are you going to come back to Canada and need the phone number? If not , there are ways to get it done quicker with your credit card
if you are not planning to come back, not going to need this phone number anymore. You can call your credit card for a charge back. But once the charge back is made, PM will really lock/suspend your account. Although it does has ways to get the account "unlocked" again, but it will be a lengthy process and will require the use of voucher for next 12 months. So, only use this if you are not planning to come back and not need the phone number anymore

It should never happen. With the introduction of the new self-serve account and it's inability to remove a credit card on the user side should mean that disabling auto pay is infallible. Contact customer support as supplied by my fellow member and request a refund and removal of your credit card from your account.
