Unable to register phone number

Hi,   I'm unable to register my phone number as it gives this error message " The phone number entered is invalid or you may have created your profile already. If you've forgotten your password, please click here.".  I'm new to PM and need to sign up using my phone number.  Can someone help?

Sometimes it gives an error message even though it actually succeed.  I had the same situation but the problem was solved on its own after a couple hours (overnight) before the mods responded to me (days).

to avoid phone issues during activation due to activation issues it is reccomended to activate your pm line first then port over your number.

I would however message a mod and ask them to look into your number before signing up in case your nmber is one of teh few taht can not be ported.
