@Maninderminhas It is normal during a port that you can make calls and texts but can't receive calls and texts because those go to the Sim card with the provider you are leaving. Who are you porting from? Which company? If it's from another cellular company it should happen within 24 hours, except certain ones like Koodo you need moderator assistance. If you are porting from a home phone line or voip, it takes longer, and can take a few days up to 7 days. You will receive a text from public mobile once the port is complete. Also, your account must be current and active with your old provider in order for it to be able to be ported and the delay time is that public mobile is dependant on when your old provider releases your phone number to them. Be patient, this is normal. In the meantime as others have mentioned, you can still use your old sim card with the provider you are leaving, it will work until the port is done and your account is closed with them automatically afterward.

@Maninderminhas hi in the meantime you can use your old sim until port is complete until it stops working then you will know and do not cancel old plan until completion of port or you will probably lose your number good luck

@Maninderminhas You will only be able to receive call when your phone transfer from your previous provider completes 100%. In the meantime just use your previous providers sim card to make/receive calls until the sim card stops working. Once it stops working start using your Public Mobile card and everything should work.
Hope this helps.

Did you port your phone number? If so from which provider? It sounds like your port is stuck. You'll have to private message the moderator_team and ask for help
