Hello,

I'm located in Washington and I am trying to make a call to LA but my call won't go through, not even a ring. How can I fix this?

Sincerely,

Michael

hi @MichaelJ3

you can still make calls as S10 has both 850Mhz and 1900Mhz on 3G networks.  Just that PM is retiring the 850Mhz in some area and if you have weak 1900Mhz in the area, voice calls might be trickier

I'm using a samsung galaxy s10 and it is not on the list. Does that mean I can't make any calls?

@MichaelJ3

what make / model is your cellphone as you need a cell that is recognized by Public Mobile to be VoLTE enabled on the network in USA...otherwise your calls will fail to complete.

hi @MichaelJ3

depends on what phone do you have.   it might be an issue with the lack of VoLTE compatibility with PM network

for quick workaround, download VoIP app TextNow and use it to make calls until the issue is figured out

Hi  you have a Canada Mexico plan? Or you purchased the US add-on?

We're you ever able to successfully make such calls before?

You turned on roaming?

Hello @MichaelJ3

Did you purchase a US addon? Or do you have a Canada US plan?

If you do, go into your settings, turn on data roaming first. Then move over to Networks and turn off automatic. Then find T-Mobile and select it. Then reboot your phone. This should resolve it.

However, it also depends on what phone you have. Most popular phones work but no name phones don't often work.
