US Roaming-ultd bought but not working.

On March 4th we again purchased US roaming and the purchase funds were withdrawn from our account. W

e still are unable to access it on our phone. What now.

 @darlicious : Talk and text only appear in the Plan details page if present. My Data & Add-ons will only show roaming data if present.

First check your transaction history for the US Roaming add on purchase to have appeared after your manual top up of funds to purchase it. If it is a unlimited add on like talk check for it under "My Plan and Add ons" otherwise it should appear at the bottom of your overview page.

 

If you do see it then reboot your phone and manually select either at&t or T-Mobile. For talk at&t may not work as they are admist decommissioning their 3G network and talk with them will only work in limited areas and eventually not at all along with T-Mobile who is scheduled to do the same July 1st 2022.

 

If after all this it is still not working or does not appear elsewhere other than your transaction history then contact customer support. Of course if you only added funds then go select, confirm and submit your purchase. If you are within the 24 hour waiting period and wanting to add the same US roaming add on you can get customer support to do this for you during that time.

 @Pcouse : Just to flesh out the waiting "glitch"...this can also be worked around by buying the other bundle or an individual feature. But no, do not have multiple talk features active at the same time. (this may be the same with text)

You can have other buckets of data active (even when consumed) but you can't buy the same one until waiting after the expiry.

Think of buying these add-ons at the top of an hour so that you know when the exact 240 hours has arrived.

The add-on is for use while in the USA.

 

When you are there, manually connect to the T-Mobile or AT&T network then reboot your phone.

US roaming Talk cannot be stacked. Next one has to be purchased after initial expire but you have to wait 24 hours.

Did you wait 24 hours?

are you sure you added the addon successfully to your account?

Do you see it listed under your Plan Details area? If not, and the $ is still showing in your Available Funds area, go back and add the addon to your account.

 

BUT, you used the work 'again'? So did you have one working before, then buy another but did not wait the full 240 hours for the first one to expire? There is a glitch if you don't do this.

Either wait, or contact CSA's to help fix it for you.

  • Make sure data roaming is enabled in your phone settings.
  • Restarting your phone should help you connect to the correct network.
  • Go to the cellular or network settings in your phone, and check your APN configuration. If possible, manually search and select either AT&T or T-Mobile's network.
