I just got the US Roam-Talk Txt 3 GB Data(15d) add on last night to get phone calls from Canada to get into my work email like I did in Missouri. However when I try to log into Outlook, my phone does not ring and my email says that the phone did not respond. I need to attend a work meeting the next day. How do I get the add on to work?

To clarify the phone I use is a ZTE Zfive z557bl phone

I tried to download Textnow but it says on the playstore that it is not compatible with my phone

hi @NikkiLe your ZTE phone is not on PM' VoLTE whitelist (The ZTE Blade on the list is a different product line) , so text and data would work but not voice. Please use the VoIP app workaround as mentioned above

Texting works since I can log into my account for public mobile. The function I need the most is call. I have restarted my phone 5 times and check other carriers. Verizon says they have no data and T mobile is not working at all. The only one with data for me AT&T.

Does data work? What about texting? Can you make outgoing calls?

A few other things to try: reboot your phone. Network reset of phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords, settings).
Which carrier are you connected to? Maybe try to manually select another US carrier partner. PM uses T mobile, AT&T and Verizon as partners.

I have a ZTE VZW-Z839PP Blade Vantage 5 which on the VoLTE list. When I sign in Outlook phone calls my phone and I confirm on the phone call which lets me sign in. I have been trying to log in and Outlook tries to call my phone but my phone does not ring.

so, it was an issue with voice? what phone do you have? I hope it is not a VoLTE issue.
and since you have mobile data, a quick workaround is to download VoIP app TextNow and use it to make regular calls on the app or receive calls. you can use that for your work meeting

@NikkiLe Maybe try and reboot the phone first see if that helps also ensure you have the correct add on and didn’t just get the U.S. long distance add on by mistake if that’s the case you can ask support to reverse it for you and get proper one . Only other thing that could give you issues is if your phone is not in the voLTE white list if it’s missing from list you have difficulty making phone calls
